Wizkid loses his Best Global Music Album Grammy Award to Angelique Kidjo
Nigeria Grammy award-winning star Wizkid, who happens to have been nominated in two categories (Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album) Angelique Kidjo has outbid Wizkid and won the Best Global Music Performance with her 12 months project titled ‘Mother Nature’
Angelique Kidjo taking home the Best Global Music Album makes it her fifth Grammy award on the night time of April third 2022.
The album also features Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi and more on different songs.
Other nominees in the category were Rocky Dawuni.
She become nominated along with Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos (Deluxe)”, Femi Kuti & Made Kuti‘s “Legacy+, “Voice Of Bunbon, Vol. 1” with the aid of using Rocky Dawuni, and “East-West Players Presents: Daniel Ho & Friends Live In Concert” with the aid of using Daniel Ho & Friends.
