Suspected Cattle Rustler K!lled by Angry Youths in Jigawa

A suspected cattle rustler was killed by angry youths in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State on Tuesday, August 16, 2023.

The incident occurred after a group of cattle rustlers stormed Unguwan Toro village and stole some sheep.

A group of youths mobilized and traced the footprints of the rustlers, and found them with the stolen sheep.

One of the suspects, 50-year-old Yahaya Adamu, was seriously injured by the mob and died while receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Babura.

Three other suspects, Kabiru Muazu, Hardo Musa, and Saidu Wanzam, were arrested in connection with the crime.

The police are investigating the matter and the suspects will be charged to court.
