Joey Akan Responds to Spyro’s Comments on Shallipopi’s Song
Spyro’s Biggest Song Is With Secular Artist, Yet He Criticizes Shallipopi’s Work
Nigerian entertainment journalist Joey Akan has responded to comments made by singer Spyro on Shallipopi’s song, “Elon Musk Boys.”
Spyro had said in an interview that the lyrics to the song were a means to internalize fraud, as the devil worked best with suggestions.
Akan took to Twitter to respond to Spyro’s comments, saying that he was being hypocritical by promoting Jesus while also “dining at the altar of mammon.”
Akan pointed out that Spyro’s biggest song was with a secular artist, Tiwa Savage, and that he had no problem performing at secular conventions or being signed to a secular record label.
Akan concluded by saying that Spyro should focus on his own music instead of criticizing the work of others.
