“You are a liar” Kazeem Adeoti breaks silence as his first wife, funsho Adeoti claims she furnished their house with her money
Movie marketer and newly wedded husband to Mercy Aigbe, Kazim Adeoti, has finally responded to his first wife, Funsho Adeoti saying she solely furnished their matrimonial home.
Funsho who took to her Instagram page on Monday to warn the couples to stop posting pictures and videos, taken in the said house.
Funsho claimed she spoke with the couple privately before publicly criticising the actress’ through a post on social media, which included pictures and videos taken in the house furnished with her “hard-earned money.”
In now-deleted posts, Funsho shared a chats where she warned her husband saying, “the next time Mercy makes another post in that house that I furnished with my hard-earned money, and posts it on social media, my next move will be brutal on this so-called social media towards both of you.”
On Monday, Adeoti reacted to the post in his Instagram page and said his first wife’s claims were erroneous.
He wrote, “I have read many things that have been written about me and my family. Many of which are fabricated lies and some directly from my first wife (which understandably is angry I married a second wife).”
“In as much as there is nothing bad in husband and wife building house together, in my case, we did not. I built the house by myself,” he added.
Adeoti also explained that, while his first wife had bought some furnishings for their home, he had reimbursed her for a portion of the costs.
“When I was furnishing the house, she bought some furnishing materials and part of the money I have refunded. My second wife had added some furnishing to the house as well.
“It is not in my character to speak ill of people who were once friends, not to talk of my first wife (who is still my wife as we speak). I will not speak ill of her for the sake of good and bad times we shared and the good kids that God gave us,” he said.
Adeoti and Mercy Aigbe wedding went viral on social media in March.
