“We Are Ready To Supply Two Months Free Electricity,”Nigeria’s Electricity Disco Companies Affirms!(NEDCA)
Remember that the House of Representatives had revealed its consideration of a new stimulus bill that will allow Nigerians to enjoy the electricity supply for two months at no charge.

The 11 Electricity Distribution Companies, DISCO, under the auspices of the Nigerian Association of Electricity Distributors (ANED), have stated that they will support the movement to supply free electricity to all consumers within their network in the next two months.
“We recognize the challenging effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the economic and daily lives of our clients”.
The DISCOs stated that this will be a mitigation measure to help Nigerians cope with the COVID-19 induced period.
While confirming the development, Mr. Sunday Oduntan, Executive Director, Nigerian Electricity Distributors Research and Defense Association (ANED), in a statement stated that

“The details of the implementation of the plans for the free supply of electricity They will come soon We are fully aligned with Plans to ensure mitigation measures, including free supply of electricity to all Nigerians for two months, to make life easier during this lockdown.
It is good they agree to supply free electricity for two months, but this is tricky!
We hardly get power supply even when we pay for the service monthly.So what’s the assurance that when it is free,we will get power supply at all?
