One reportedly k#lled as APC members protest in Rivers state

Channels Tv reported that some members of the APC loyal to a lawmaker who’s representing Rivers South-East senatorial district, were said to have block off the party secretariat to protest their claimed exclusion from screening of aspirants for the state house of assembly primary.

They claimed that the state leadership of the party had taken over the process of delegates nominations for the party’s primaries

They reported that a make victim who was also a protester was found laying down in front of the state party’s secretariat on woji road in the new government residential area of Port Harcourt after the security men shot continuously into the sky to scare away the protesters

It has not been confirmed if the deceased was hit by a bullet of it was as a result of a stampede while the crowd were running for safety.
