
It was indeed a lot sad to hear that one Mr.Kehinde Omotosho took his last breath while in detention at a police custody,State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, Ibadan, over a crime committed by one of his sons.
According to Naija News, one of the family member who resides at Ibadan voiced out they were cheated by the Nigerian Policemen because they were not privileged to be learned leading to the death of one of their own.
This lamentation from the family came after it was revealed that Kehinde Omotosho gave up the ghost in police detention because of a crime one of his sons committed.

According to Naija news, Omotosho was an humble tradesman based in the Oyo capital and he got in police custody after the security men suddenly entered his apartment to arrest one of his children, Kabiru. When they couldn’t find the boy the policemen arrested father and his younger son, Jelili.
After a week of his detention,Mr Omotosho Kehinde died ,it was reported that the decease was denied was not allowed to meet with his family members and relatives til he gave up the ghost on Wednesday, July 22.
According to Akin Fadeyi, Director of the Akin Fadeyi Foundation, the deceased who happens to be the breadwinner of his family, left behind an aged mother.
He said, “We presently an heart wrenching report through FlagIt App.On Wednesday, Mr. Kehinde Omotosho, alias Akéde, a trader at Gbagi Market, Ibadan, Oyo State, was resting in the comfort of his home. Nigerian police officers from Iyaganku barged into his house to arrest one of his son, Kabiru. He was said to have been involved in a fight.
“His son was not at home at that time. The police made an hostage arrest,they arrested the father in lieu of the son. He was droven to State CID, Iyaganku. They took him and Jelili (Kabiru’s brother),.Mr Omotosho was kept for seven days. He was not charged to court and neither were his relatives allowed to see him. Between yesterday night and today, Mr Kehinde Omotosho died in a police cell.”
“The family Representative of the Late Mr Omotosho said these words, ‘The Nigerian Police has killed our family member.We are being cheated because we are not educated and we don’t have connections.

Mr Fadeyi made it known that the police force should be ready for an hardened challenge because the matter would not be a closed chapter.
He said:“Nigerian Police authorities are being put on notice that this matter shall not be swept under the carpet, justice must be demanded by us all for the deceased and his family,”
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Gbenga Fadeyi, has not been fully informed on the sad incident.
He said“I have just heard of this now but I will look into it and get back to you later in the day.”
