Man assaulted his pregnant wife over Ramadan meal

A man named Taofeek Gbolagade reportedly assaulted his pregnant wife , The police has been involved in the case and they are making proper investigation on it.

Tuesday,April 12, Taofeek reportedly assaulted his wife in the early hours at their residence in Ogbere Housing Estate, Ibadan,

some said that the man assaulted his wife for not preparing Sahur (the pre-dawn meal usually taken by Muslims in preparation for fasting during Ramadan) on time, while others maintained that was not what made the man beat his wife.

According to what was gathered, The man was said to have beaten his pregnant wife for over 30 minutes before she managed to escape and leave the house.

The woman’s family reported the incident to the police and immediately husband realized that he left the house and they couldn’t find him.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso confirmed that investigation had begun into the case.
