I wasn’t happy with the first training session that I had at Manchester United Football Club – Alexis Sanchez

The now Nerrazurri Player has revealed that he asked his agent if he could terminate his contract with Manchester United Football Club and return to Arsenal as something didn’t sit right with him on his first day at the Club’s AON Training Complex.

The 31-year-old has used Instagram to tell his side of the story about his move to Old Trafford in 2018. Sanchez endured a torrid spell after signing for the Red Devils under the management of Jose Mourinho, scoring five goals in 45 appearances before being loaned to Internazionale last season and joined them last month.

“I want to tell you about my stay at United, about many things that were said, and that made me look bad,” said Sanchez. “I got the opportunity to go to United and it seemed tempting to me. It was something nice for me, because, when I was a kid, I liked that club a lot.

“After the session, I got home and told my family and my agent; “can’t you rip up the contract, and let’s go back to Arsenal? They laughed, but I told them there is something that doesn’t seem right, it doesn’t seem good at all.
Then, I realized I already signed the contract. I was already there and after the first few months, the same feeling was in me. We weren’t united as a team in that moment and I was blamed during my period there despite that I do self-criticism.
