Uche Jombo, Nollywood actress, has responded to an Instagram follower who advised her to check up on her colleague, Genevieve Nnaji, following rumors about her health.

Naijapalaba.com had reported that: So Sad!! Genevieve Nnaji is currently receiving treatment over mental illness, (She has almost gone mad)

It was reported that the 46-year-old actress is dealing with mental illness and she’s been taking care of in Texas, after she deleted all her posts on Instagram and unfollowed everyone on the platform.

Though Genevieve returned to Instagram on Wednesday, she posted a video of herself painting on a canvas, netizens believe the video was shared by her team to seemingly dismiss the viral reports.

A concerned fan then reached out to Genevieve’s colleague and close friend, Uche Jombo, asking that she check up on her friend.

The fan identified as @adie_godwin20 took to the comment section of an Instagram post about Genevieve, and pleaded with Uche Jombo to check on her.

“@uchejombo Please check on her and let me know if she is okay. I know she is your best friend. ” The follower wrote.

Responding, Uche hinted that the actress is in good health and urged the fan to not believe everything he sees online.

“How about you don’t believe everything you see on social media?” Uche Jombo wrote.
