The Nigeria Music Industry as produce some really good artists and some are well recognized across Africa and even the world.
While we have the luxury of great musicians with the likes of Davido, Wizkid, and Olamide making the waves in recent years, we have some artists who were known for their lyrics and vocal performance.
Here we mirror out five (5) musicians that are soo good we pray to have some of them back.
1 FAZE
Chibuzor Oji popularly called ‘Faze’ is a Nigerian Musician and an actor. He was also a member of the defunct hip hop group called ‘Plantashun Boyz’ alongside Blackface Naija and Tu Face.
He was known for his vocal performance and his songs were always admired by the masses.

His song ‘Kolomental’ was the street dance in 2016 with the likes of ‘Need Somebody’ and ‘Kpo Kpo Di Kpo’ storming the speakers of our sets.
His first Album ‘faze Alone’ sold over three million copies with his 2nd album ‘Independent’ hitting over 7 million copies worldwide. He was also the first Nigerian artist to have three consecutive platinum albums.
2 OMAWUNMI
Omawunmi Magbele is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She also the brand ambassador of GLOBACOM, Malta Guinness, and Konga.com.
‘Thank God’ alongside late Da Grin was one of her hit songs and her song ‘If you ask me’ was also a good one.

She has also featured the likes of Slimcase, Nigerian disk jockey Dj Spinal, Tu face, and Kizz Daniel.
3 SOLID STAR
Joshua Iniyezo known by his stage name as ‘SolidStar’ is a songwriter and he is also a performer.
He was well known across Nigeria and Africa for his hit song ‘One in a Million’ which he later remixes with Nigerian Legend Tu face.

His songs include the like of ‘Omotena’, Nwa baby where he featured Tu face and ‘Wait’ alongside Davido.
4 eLDee
Lanre Dabiri, who was fondly called ‘eLDee’ ‘eLDee d Don’ is a former Nigerian and American rapper-singer. He is also a record producer.
His album ‘Return of the King’ which was released in 2000 won the Best International Album at the 2007 Nigerian Entertainment Awards in New York City.
His songs include the likes of ‘I go yarn’, ‘Today Today and ‘Big Boy’ which features the likes of Olu Maintain, Banky W, and Oladele.
He is currently an IT consultant based in the United States of America.
5 MODENINE
Babatunde Olusegun Adewale mostly called ‘Modenine’ is an English-born Nigerian rapper.
In 2014, he teamed up with Jamaican-American rapper Canibus to release a song titled ‘Super Human’
Modenine was a controversial rapper and once the hottest rapper Nigerian has back then.
Malcolm IX released in 2014 alongside Da Vinci Mode in 2010 and Insulin in 2016 were some of his single Album.
He also features in the song ‘Stylee’ alongside Nigeria Superstar Dj, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Tu face, and Elajoe.
