Bernard scored the opener in the first half with a volley after a wonderful cross from Walcott.
After it looks like Everton are going to get more goals, Christian Benteke, whose last goal came in April equalized after his low effort went under Jordan Pickford’s body.
Crystal Palace dominated most of the possession but fell behind after Richalison ran through their defense to slot in the second for the toffees.
Benteke’s close header was superbly saved by Pickford who had to be at his best to protect Everton’s lead.
Both teams struck the post while the game was put beyond the Eagles in the 88th minutes when Calvert-Lewin reacted quickest to put the ball in the net after Richarlison’s header struck the bar.
The result moves the toffees to seventh with 36points while Crystal Palace fell to 14th.
