Eriksen scores first inter goal as they win at Ludogorets in their 1st leg

Christian Eriksen recorded his firsf Inter Milan goal as they despatched Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League last-32 tie at the Ludogorets Arena.

The ex Tottenham Hotspur midfielder scored from a lay-off from Romelu Lukaku at the edge of the area with 20 minutes to go.

The Danish midfielder had earlier struck the post with a 25 yards drive.

Romelu Lukaku sealed the win in added time with a well taken penalty.

This was the first involvement of the midfielder after the player had failed to score or register an assist following his arrival in the January transfer.

Christian Eriksen has played 137 minutes across his five matches for the Italian club.

In a game that Inter largerly dominated but could not find a break through with only a shot off target effort.

But his quality was underlined after his calm finish into the bottom right-hand corner pass goal keeper Plamen lliev gave inter the lead in the 71 minutes.

There was minutes for the likes of Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez and former Chelsea winger Victor Moses and Former Manchester United Skipper Ashley Young also came on as a second half substitute.

The return leg will take place at the San Siro Stadium next Thursday,  27 January.
