DSP Bright Edafe, clarify the identity of security officers caught on camera struggling with a driver for control of car steering
The spokesperson of Delta state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, has come out to clarify the identity of the security officers seen in a viral video struggling for control of a moving vehicle with a driver.
Recall that on Thursday, May 26, Naijapalaba shared the video where Passengers cry out as Officers manhandle driver and drag steering wheel with him (video)
Reacting to the video on Twitter, Edafe said the officers are Vehicle Inspection Officers and not police officers as widely presumed. He wrote;
”Investigations has revealed that the incident happened in Delta State and perpetrated by VIO Operatives in Patani and not Police officers as it’s being wrongly portrayed , they have been identified and detained. witness(s) should DM me ASAP”
