Driver crushes LASTMA official to death in Lagos

Jamiu Issa, An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(LASTMA), has been crushed to death by a driver in the Lekki-Ajah area of the state while he was at work.

According to what was gathered ,The driver was driving against traffic when Issa tried to stop him for the traffic offense but the driver rammed into him.

Issa was rushed to the hospital immediately when it happened but he was confirmed dead.

The Sienna driver was chased by witnesses as he tried to escape from the scene. In the process, he also hit another before he was arrested.

The driver was taken first to Ilasan police station, and eventually to Ajiwe police station.

Loved ones have taken to Facebook to mourn the deceased officer.
