Distribution of Palliatives is Still Ongoing in a Transparent Manner- pres Buhari Assures Nigerians

In the speech delivered by the president of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari at 8:00 pm, Nigerian time, on Monday, 27th of April 2020 where the president addressed Nigerians officially for the third time since the pandemic hit the country.

The president in his speech assured Nigerians that distribution of Palliatives for the neediest in the community is still ongoing and done in a Transparent Manner, also as directed in his last speech on 12th April 2020, that the distribution and expansion of the Palliatives from 2.6million to 3.6million people are being followed. And that this is being done by the state government to their citizens of the state, thus assuring Nigerians of the proper and very clear and transparent way of distributing the Palliatives.

He expressed his feelings about some citizens worry and urge all exercise patience as they continue to do the needful. He also urged Nigerians to continue to show their cooperation and utmost understanding of the present health challenges and observe the possible hygienic measures to stop the spread of the virus.

    1. In my view, the distribution is done among people that are doing the distribution or it is just a publicity stunt. They say it is done among the most neediest of people. Who are the most neediest in the society and how do you get their data if i may ask? It is clear that even those that appear not to be needy in the sight of government have been placed vulnerable to hunger lately due to development of recent lockdown as a result of Covid-19. Clearly we don’t have data of any sort in this country. It is not just those that have no jobs that are hungry, alot depend on daily pay for the survival of their families, do you include such people in your distribution of palliatives? That’s if the distribution is even real.

    2. There is no way the distribution can be shared equitably and get to all the targeted criticizes.
The reason being that, the corrupt politicians in-charge will definitely divert the palliative items to themselves.
That is the kind of country we found ourselves
