Lagos State, the worst hit state with the Covid-19 in Nigeria as recorded another death from the virus.
This bring the total number of death in the state to 19 and it’s likely to have more with the number of infected people rapidly increasing.
Following 80 new cases confirmed in the state, the State Ministry of Health confirmed the death on Twitter on Saturday.
On Friday, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) had earlier announced 114 cases in the country with Lagos having 80 cases, FCT 5 and Gombe with 21.
Zamfara and Edo have 2 confirmed case respectively, while the likes of Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto having 1 each.
The new cases as increased the number of affected people risen to 1,095 in the country which has seen 208 patients discharged and recording 32 deaths so far.
