Coronavirus – Another patient died in Oyo State

Another Patient in Oyo state died from the novel coronavirus after its complications according to Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Governor.

The Oyo state governor as made it known via his official Twitter handle.

Seyi Makinde said

“Sadly, one of the new COVID-19 cases announced yesterday, passed away this morning. This brings the number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state to two.”

“So, there are currently eight active cases in Oyo state”

There have been a total number of 1,273 cases in the country while 40 deaths as been confirmed.

A total number of 239 have recovered from the virus.

Lagos state has the highest number of cases with 731 while Oyo has 21 cases.


    1. Oyo state government have been taking these Covid-19 case lightly in the name of: The man is good. Just to please indigenous people of the state which is very wrong because if its boomerang, they will blame him for that.
