Breaking: Nigerians React As Atiku Wins PDP Presidential Primary Election
On Saturday night, May 28, Netizens reacts after former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was declared the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential primaries.
Recall that the presidential primary election of the nation’s main opposition party ended on Saturday night in favour of Atiku.
The Adamawa State-born politician emerged the winner of the polls after polling the highest votes.
The former Vice President clinched the much coveted ticket during the presidential primary of the main opposition party held on Saturday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Atiku who polled a total of 371 votes ahead of Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, will now be the official candidate of the PDP for the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar – 371
Nyesom Wike- 237
Bukola Saraki – 70
Udom Emmanuel – 38
Bala Mohammed – 20
Pius Anyim – 14
Sam Ohabunwa – 1
Olivia Tariela – 1
There were 12 void votes
Nigerians on social media have, however, reacted to Atiku’s victory as they expressed their different views.
