Bank of Ghana bans making payments for goods in foreign currency

The Bank of Ghana has cautioned the general public to stop dealing  in illegal forex activities , That is ,pricing, advertising, receipting or making payments for goods and services in Foreign currency in the country, without the authorization from Bank of Ghana.

Today April 7, The directive issued in a statement released that the only legal currency in Ghana is Cedis and should be the only means of exchange.
