Actress Georgina Onuoha: Leave Gay People Alone, They’ve Not Hurt Anyone – Delta

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called for an end to the persecution of homosexuals in Nigeria. Onuoha made the call in reaction to the recent arrest of over 100 suspected homosexuals in Delta State.

The suspects were arrested for allegedly holding a gay wedding at a hotel in the state. However, Onuoha said that the suspects had not committed any crime and should not be persecuted.

“They have not hurt or killed anyone with their lifestyle,” Onuoha said. “It is not a sin to live like them, so they deserve to be left alone.”

Onuoha’s call comes at a time when there is growing intolerance towards homosexuals in Nigeria. In recent years, there have been several reports of attacks on homosexuals, and some states have passed laws that criminalize same-sex relationships.

Onuoha’s comments have been met with mixed reactions. Some people have praised her for speaking out against discrimination, while others have criticized her for supporting homosexuality.

However, Onuoha has stood her ground, saying that she is simply calling for equality for all Nigerians, regardless of their sexual orientation.

“We are all human beings, and we all deserve to be treated with respect,” she said. “No one should be persecuted for who they are.”
