A 36-year-old man named Ahmad Musa has been remanded by the magistrates’ court in Kano State for assaulting his seven-year-old niece.
A First Information Report (FIR) from one Yakubu Lawan of Ayagi Quarters in Dala LGA, filed at Dala police station alleged that on March 17, 2022, Ahmad Musa of Kofar Ruwa Quarters lured his niece which name can’t be disclosed into a security room at the same address and had canal knowledge of her.
Musa who appeared in court on April 4, pleaded not guilty to the charge filed against him.
The magistrate was known as Mustapha Datti, thereafter ordered that Musa be remanded at the correctional facility and adjourned the case to May 23.
